ARCHITECTURE
The SAW solution, based on NFC technology, is an INTEGRATED SYSTEM to support the management and control of FIELD ACTIVITIES. It allows "active" management of company procedures and continuous and efficient control of activities, simply by bringing an NFC mobile phone close to tags applied in the field to systems, systems, vehicles, machinery, equipment, areas and premises, etc. The solution DOES NOT INVOLVE any process automation, barcode implementations or system integration but is instead an application that harmonizes the MAN-MACHINE-PROCESS interaction and interface, effectively extending human skills in a simple and intuitive way (“approach here your mobile").
The solution is based on 3 main elements:
1. A web-based server application and managed in the cloud as a service (SaaS), on which all the data, contents and procedures that are sent to mobile terminals in the field reside.
The central application can then be interfaced with corporate legacy systems (eg SAP, Infor, etc.);
2. A mobile application, installed on mobile phones with NFC technology (normal commercial Android and JM2E smartphones), which provides a 2-way communication tool, (voice, data, audio, images, ...) with the control unit .
For special environments, special smartphones are also available (eg RUGGED, ATEX);
3.NFC Badges and NFC Seals applied on: objects, devices, equipment, machinery, vehicles, premises or workspaces, etc.
The extremely low cost of NFC tags allows extensive coverage of field operations economically.
